According to the cited reference, 97% of samples which were positive for either cocaine or opiates were also positive for an adulterating or cutting agent. In the umbilical cord samples positive for cocaine, levamisole was the most common and present in 18%. In the umbilical cord samples positive for opiates, phenacetin was the most common and present in 5% of samples.
