What to Expect from AACT
AACT will provide the technology and infrastructure to advertise the webinar, handle webinar registration, produce the webinar, and host the recorded webinar. AACT will provide marketing support through our newsletters, social media and other web-based channels in addition to your own promotion. AACT will provide the webinar software and support. AACT will provide webinar recording to members and access to CME credits.
What AACT Expects from You
To present on the event, you will need access to a computer with a high-speed Internet connection in a quiet area and microphone and speakers or a phone line and the most up-to-date Zoom app installed on your computer. You are expected to prepare slides or other materials to share with webinar attendees. You are responsible for filling out a disclosure to communicate any conflicts of interest (link at the top of the page). You are responsible for coordinating content and presentation flow with any co-presenters. You are expected to let AACT know about any changes to your availability for holding the webinar or any changes to the webinar title, description, presenters and their biographies (including affiliation and titles). You are encouraged to market the webinar to your networks through email lists, social media and other web-based channels. You will attend the webinar practice during the week before the webinar at the agreed upon time. You will join the webinar at least 30 minutes in advance of the scheduled start for final sound checks and logistics.
By submitting this form, you are agreeing to the following terms:
AACT reserves the right to edit webinar titles and descriptions. AACT will provide and manage the webinar delivery platform. You are responsible for other technology necessary for delivering the webinar, including a computer with a reliable internet connection. You will not receive a reimbursement or honoraria for delivering this webinar. You will provide AACT with a digital copy of any presentation materials and grant AACT an irrevocable, royalty-free, non-exclusive and perpetual license to use them. You will not record the webinar without AACT's permission. You grant AACT an irrevocable, royalty-free, exclusive and perpetual license to use the presentation recording, which may include your likeness, voice and slides. You affirm that the presentation and any associated materials are your original work and that you have obtained any necessary copyright permissions and that AACT's use of such file(s) will not infringe the rights of any third party, including but not limited to intellectual property rights, or any other rights protected by law (such as the right to privacy or right of publicity). Content will be educational and based on a relevant topic, concept or idea, not a product or service. AACT does not allow sales pitches during presentations. You grant AACT permission to use your likeness in connection with the promotion of the webinar.
