Toxicology history is fun, fascinating, and educational. Numerous experiences, poisonings, and catastrophes have occurred throughout history that teach us valuable lessons. Today’s webinar will cover three major topics in the history of toxicology.

- Describe the mechanism of action and pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties of thalidomide that establish its clinical use and adverse effects.
- Be able to recite what exposure lead to acute heart failure in Quebec City Beer drinkers in 1965.
